We currently offer a civilian version of our USMC Optical
Platform as used on the M40A3 Sniper rifle. All optical
platforms are machined from 4140 pre-hard, ground
bar-stock and gauged to a true M1913 Picatinney
standard. All tolerances are closely held to the Picatinney
standard for repeatable accuracy and return to zero on all
rifles.An integral recoil shoulder is machined on the
platform for added support. Our standard platform is
designed to be user installed with 6-48 tpi screws and
without receiver modification. We also offer all platforms in
8-40 tpi configuration which requires drilling and tapping of
all factory screw holes. Provided in matte blue finish with
screws.

ROSS M-24 OPTICAL PLATFORM
Our M24 Optical Platform was designed and provided to the
military in conjunction with the Joint Services Night Vision
Program.The M24 Optical Platform is machined from 4140
pre-hard, ground bar-stock and held true to M1913 Picatinney
standards. A proprietary cam lever is built into the platform to
allow precise fitting to all Remington 700 long actions and to
prevent movement regardless of caliber or recoil. This
precision mount is designed specifically for the US Army M24
Sniper rifle and requires minor gunsmithing* to adapt to civilian
rifles.
